OUR HISTORY....

Formed by a group of concerned parents and coaches in the off season of 2014, the Southtowne Stallions were born and opened with winter Arena Football.  We had 2 small teams that consisted of ages 8-14 yr. old boys that played their hearts out.

From there we opened the regular fall season in the year of 2015 with 2 football teams and 1 cheer team.  It was a rough start but the kids, coaches and parents were committed and saw the season to the end.  The losses were greater than the wins but we had HEART!

In 2016, things began to turn around.... we were very active in the community and the numbers grew.  Our Mitey-Mite football team went on to win the Chicagoland Mite-Mite Superbowl  - CHAMPS!!!  Their record 6-2.  Our 12U team advanced to the playoffs but lost in the 1st round.... 

2017..... We had 2 cheer teams and 3 football teams -  GROWTH!!!!

We look forward to being able to add more to our history every year!  Its more than just FOOTBALL & CHEER!!!

WHAT IS A STALLION....

 A STALLION is a male horse that has not been gelded (castrated).  STALLIONS follow the confirmation of phenotype of their breed, but within that standard, the presence of hormones such as testosterone may give STALLIONS a thicker, “cresty” neck, as well as a somewhat more muscular physique as compared to female horses, known as mares, and castrated males, called geldings
