INSTRUCTIONAL LEVELS:
TINY MITE CHEER (AGES 5-6) Tiny Mite to cheer is a fun instructional level of cheer which teaches the basic principles of cheerleading and teamwork, while still having FUN!!! The season starts August 1st and is over the end of October. During this time the cheerleaders will cheer at all games on the weekends and compete as an exhibition team in two low pressure local competitions. Practices are 5 nights a week for two hours a practice, days of the week are determined by the coaches availability. Tiny Mite practices begin outdoors at the home field August 1st and move to indoors once the weather changes where they remain through the end of the season. Indoor practices take place at one of the local schools, these sites may vary due to the availability of the school. All coaches are Pop Warner Certified.
MIGHTY MITE CHEER (AGES 7-9)
Mighty Mite Cheer is a fun instructional level building on the basic principles of cheerleading and teamwork while still having FUN!!! The Mighty Mite season begins August 1st and runs through the beginning of November. Mighty Mites will compete as an exhibition team in three low pressure local competitions, as well as cheer at all football games on the weekends . Practices for Mighty Mites are 2 hours a night, 5 nights a week, practices begin outdoors at the practice field from August 1st to Labor Day. After Labor Day practices will drop to 3 nights a week and will go indoors at schools in the area once the weather changes and will remain indoors the remainder of the season. The assigned school may vary due to the availability of the gym space. All coaches are Pop Warner certified.
COMPETITIVE LEVELS:
Junior Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Junior Varsity, Varsity (AGES 10-14):
Our Competitive levels are broken up into four divisions: Junior Pee Wee, Pee Wee, Junior Varsity and Varsity. Cheerleaders are placed on teams/levels based on age, and what is best for our League and the cheerleaders' development. Competitive Cheer is a dedicated sport that requires full participation and commitment from each athlete. The season starts August 1st and is over as far out as December with Nationals. Competition Cheer will compete at a local competition, the Chicagoland Conference Competition; if qualifying then the Mid-America Regional Competition in November; if qualifying then Pop Warner Nationals the 1st week in December. They will also cheer at all games that are played on the weekends that start at the end of August. The regular season ends at the end of October and playoffs continue on to the end of November. Cheerleaders will continue to cheer for football teams at games as long as they continue in playoffs. Practice for Competitive Cheer starts 5 nights a week in August at the practice field for 2 hours a night and will drop to 3 nights a week after Labor Day. Indoor practice will begin once the weather changes at schools in the area, and the practices will remain indoors for the reminder of the season. The assigned school may vary practice to practice. Cheering at games the weekend prior to competition and attendance at all practices the week of competition are mandatory. All coaches are Pop Warner Certified.

Head coaches must be 21 years old. Assistant coaches must be 18 years old. A head coach or assistant coach who is 21 years old or older must be present with the team in order for the team to practice.
Teen coaches must be 15 years old. We welcome any 14 year olds that would like to be teen coach trainees.
You don't need to have a child in cheerleading or have any cheerleading experience!
